David Liang grew up in Canton, China. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art, London, UK. His BA experience in Studio Art and History at Trinity College, USA, provided him with different opportunities for art creation. His artworks mainly concentrated on realistic oil paintings, and the contents were not limited to landscapes, portraits, or objects; they also focused on creating scenes to transmit philosophy and social discussion through his paintings. David was awarded “The Friends of Art” in Trinity College, 2023, while featured in the “Personal History” exhibition to celebrate Trinity College’s bicentennial. In 2024, David brings his solo exhibition with a series of paintings, “Light & Darkness”, into the Poon Family Art Gallery.
